Bingo
GBI & House Rules for BINGO
Since Bingo is a form of gambling, we are licensed and
governed by the Georgia
Bureau of investigation
(GBI). We are aware that you may have played bingo in other
states and under
varying rules. The following is a general summary of the GBI and
our "House" rules governing
Bingo being played at the Festhalle in Helen, Georgia, under the
licensed granted to the Greater Helen Area Chamber of Commerce.
UNDER
GEORGIA LAW
THE TOTAL PRIZE MONEY AWARDED PER BINGO SESSION WILL
NOT BE GREATER THAN $1500.00
1) ANYONE UNDER 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
2) You must have an admission sheet to buy extra cards, to
play or to win. NO SPLITTING OF CARDS.
3) You must have a "dauber" or "marker"
with ink specially
formulated for paper Bingo cards.
4) Once a game has begun, no additional game cards may be
purchased for that game.
5) Your "Bingo" must include the last number called
to be
valid.
6) When a "Bingo" has been declared by a player,
the caller
will repeat the last number called, ask twice if
there are
any more 'Bingos" to declare. There will be no
other
"Bingos" allowed for that game after the
caller has asked
twice and closed the game.
7) If "bingo" is called by two or more players in a
game, the
"pot" will be split down to the nearest
25 cents.
8) All winners must complete necessary paymaster forms or be
disqualified.
9) TO avoid any hint if complicity in winning, no Bingo
personnel may answer questions pertaining to A
particular
game after that game has begun.
10) We reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises
whose behavior is deemed unacceptable or
disturbing to
other players.
11) We reserve the right to change games and prize money.
12) No refunds or discounts allowed.
13) Any payoff resulting in more than $1500.00 for the
session will be removed from the final game.
14) Children may play and win if accompanied by an adult and
have a paid admission and an admission
sheet.
Children not playing must remain seated at
all times
with their adult.
